Head Chef – Smoky Boys Milton Keynes Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations Lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Deliver consistent food quality and presentation in line with Smoky Boys specifications. Monitor food preparation, cooking and plating during every service. Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen. Create rotas that meet business needs while controlling labour costs. Food Safety & Compliance Ensure full compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations and HACCP procedures. Complete all daily, weekly and monthly food safety documentation. Control food GP by minimising waste and ensuring correct portion control. Monitor stock rotation and reduce food waste. Work within agreed labour and food cost budgets. Menu & Standards Ensure all recipes are followed exactly to Smoky Boys specifications. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment maintenance. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Chef. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality. Strong organisational and communication skills.
