Position: Catering Assistant Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing positions Pay: £13.68 - £15 per hour (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees) Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you About the Role As a Catering Assistant, you will support the smooth running of busy school kitchens by preparing food, serving meals, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with catering or kitchen experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, friendly, school environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and serving meals to pupils. * Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas. * Follow food hygiene and health & safety regulations. * Support stock rotation and correct storage of supplies. * Work efficiently as part of a busy catering team. Candidate Requirements ? Previous catering or kitchen experience (school experience desirable). ? Basic food hygiene knowledge. ? Strong teamwork and communication skills. ? Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
