Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. The successful candidate will take ownership of a designated section, producing consistent, high-quality dishes in line with our menus and standards. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a dynamic and creative kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of your designated section (e.g. larder, pastry, sauce, grill), • Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standard, in line with Fallen Angel's recipes and specifications, • Ensure all food preparation is carried out in a timely and efficient manner during service, • Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards in accordance with current legislation, • Monitor and manage stock levels within your section, minimising waste and reporting shortages to the Sous Chef, • Assist with the training and development of junior kitchen staff and commis chefs, • Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service at all times, • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development and daily specials, • Ensure your section is clean, organised and ready for service at all times, • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie looking to step up, • Formal culinary qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred, • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum), • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment, • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality food, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required What We Offer • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, • A creative and supportive kitchen environment, • Opportunities for career progression within Fallen Angel, • Staff meals on duty, • Ongoing training and development, • A chance to be part of a unique and exciting dining concept
