Store Supervisor – Plan Burrito, Swansea Location: Union Street, Swansea Position: Store Supervisor Experience: Previous experience in a busy food, retail or hospitality environment preferred We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Store Supervisor to join the team at Plan Burrito, Union Street, Swansea. The successful candidate will help oversee the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, food safety and staff performance are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities • Supervising the team and ensuring staff are working efficiently throughout each shift, • Training and supporting new and existing members of staff, • Preparing and managing staff rotas to ensure the store is appropriately staffed, • Monitoring staff attendance, punctuality and performance, • Managing staff break times and ensuring breaks are taken appropriately without affecting service, • Carrying out regular spot checks on staff performance and standards, • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, • Checking that food preparation and service areas are kept clean and presentable, • Monitoring stock levels and placing orders when required, • Checking deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly, • Monitoring stock rotation and minimising waste, • Ensuring company procedures, food hygiene and health & safety standards are followed, • Helping to resolve day-to-day staff and customer issues, • Leading by example and maintaining a positive, professional working environment, • Supporting the management team with the smooth and efficient running of the store The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: • Experienced in supervising or managing a team, • Confident giving direction and holding staff accountable, • Organised and able to manage rotas and staffing requirements, • Reliable, punctual and professional, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, • Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, • Confident checking stock and placing orders, • Hands-on and willing to get involved with all aspects of running the store, • A good communicator who can motivate and support a team, • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends What We’re Looking For This is a hands-on role for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day standards of the store and make sure the team is working effectively.
