Front of House Team Member ((Part-time: 20-30 hours pw)) Vieni Part-time position available (including weekday daytimes, evenings & weekends - candidate must be flexible) About Vieni Vieni is a modern neighbourhood restaurant with strong Sicilian roots. Our menu is inspired by the food, culture, and hospitality of Sicily - where meals are built around great ingredients, bold flavours, and a sense of generosity. We take influence from traditional Sicilian cooking, using seasonal produce, vibrant flavours, and simple, well-executed dishes that let the ingredients speak for themselves. You’ll see that reflected across everything we do, from our food to our coffee and drinks offering. Just as important as the food is how it’s shared. Sicilian hospitality is warm, relaxed, and full of life, and that’s exactly what we aim to bring to Vieni. Our service isn’t formal or pretentious - it’s personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. We want guests to feel at ease, looked after, and to leave having had a genuinely memorable experience. Our team takes pride in understanding what we serve. We care about the ingredients we use and the stories behind them, and we enjoy sharing that with our guests in a natural and engaging way. At the heart of Vieni is a small, close-knit team who support each other, take pride in what we do, and enjoy the buzz of a busy, well-run service. The Role We’re looking for someone who brings great energy to the room - a confident, experienced Front of House team member who enjoys talking to people, knows how to read a table, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, attentive service. You’ll be right at the heart of the floor: making coffees, guiding guests through the menu, building relationships with regulars, and helping shape the atmosphere that defines Vieni. What You’ll Be Doing • Welcoming guests in a warm, genuine way, • Making consistently great coffee (barista skills are essential), • Taking orders and confidently talking through the menu, • Delivering food and drinks with care and attention to detail, • Creating a relaxed but attentive dining experience, • Keeping the space clean, organised, and inviting, • Working closely with the kitchen and the rest of the team, • Bringing personality and positive energy to every shift What We’re Looking For • Front of house experience is essential, • Barista trained and confident behind a coffee machine, • Someone who is naturally friendly, confident, and full of personality, • A genuine interest in food, ingredients, and hospitality, • Comfortable speaking about the menu and making recommendations, • Attentive and intuitive with guests - able to read the room, • A team player who’s happy to get stuck in wherever needed What You’ll Get • Competitive pay, • Staff meals on shift, • A supportive, down-to-earth team, • The chance to grow with us as we continue to build Vieni How to Apply If this sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you. Send over your CV and a few lines about yourself - tell us a bit about your experience and what you enjoy about working in hospitality.
