Hello there, we're looking for a Part Time experienced Pizza Chef to work in our Walthamstow pizzeria. Approx. 25-30 Hours. A pizza chef with strong skills in kitchen organisation and production and someone who loves working in a team and committed to absolute quality. If this is you we'd love to hear from you. There is opportunity to progress up through the company as you will be working with the Head Chef. The right candidate would be expected to start on £17 per hour (including tips) but with rapid promotion following successful performance reviews. Tips currently bring in an extra £4.00 per hour on average. We are a sourdough pizza concept who work with local producers and suppliers to source the best local produce to make pizza. Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining area to comply with health and safety regulations. 6. Customer Service : Engage with customers, when appropriate, to explain sushi menu items, answer questions about dishes, and sometimes perform the art of sushi making in front of guests for an interactive dining experience. 7. Team Collaboration : Work closely with kitchen staff and the front of the house to ensure smooth operation and high-quality service. Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in sushi preparation techniques and kitchen management. Skills and Qualifications: - Culinary Expertise : Proven experience as a sushi chef with in-depth knowledge of sushi preparation, Japanese cuisine, and culinary arts. Preparing and cooking home made meals from scratch such as English classics Shepherds Pie, Fish and Chips and Roast dinner. Also being able to manage the kitchen and lead a team cooking on the grill and preparing sandwiches, omelettes and breakfasts. Experience is necessary.
