Join Claires Court as a Minibus Driver and help ensure the safe and smooth transport of our pupils. \n About the Role \n We are seeking a dependable and professional Minibus Driver to join our Estates Team. Working Monday to Friday, you will transport pupils to and from school and school activities, ensuring a safe, punctual, and friendly service. \n You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, safeguarding, and vehicle care, while representing the school in a professional manner at all times. \n About Claires Court \n At Claires Court, we aim to develop boys and girls to succeed in life. From Nursery to Sixth Form, we provide tailored learning environments for every child. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Safely transport pupils on designated routes and school activities\n, • Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic weekly maintenance checks\n, • Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy\n, • Maintain accurate passenger registers and transport records\n, • Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and delays\n, • Promote positive pupil behaviour and ensure safety at all times\n, • Report incidents, delays, or vehicle faults promptly\n, • Comply with all road safety, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations\n\n Person Specification \n\n • Valid D1 or PCV driving licence\n, • Previous minibus driving experience preferred\n, • Strong understanding of road safety and compliance\n, • Reliable, punctual, and professional\n, • Calm and confident when working with children\n, • Committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare\n, • Flexible and a team player\n\n What We Offer \n\n • Term-time only working (c.36 weeks per year)\n, • Consistent part-time hours (25 hours per week)\n, • Supportive and welcoming school community\n, • Ongoing training, including safeguarding\n, • Competitive salary\n\n Safeguarding \n Claires Court Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
