Health, Safety & Fire Specialist – North Region LocationManchester, Leeds, York or Newcastle areasRemote with regional travelPackage: • £45,000 – £55,000 DOE, • £6,000 car allowance or company car, • Fuel card / mileage expenses, • 8% employer pension contribution, • Remote and on site working, • Ongoing training & development supportThe CompanyA leading UK property business with a large multi-site portfolio across commercial and mixed-use environments is continuing to invest in the growth of its internal Health, Safety & Fire function, building stronger in-house capability across the UK.The RoleReporting into the Group Head of Health & Safety, you will support a portfolio of sites across the South region, working closely with Facilities and Centre Management teams to provide practical Health, Safety & Fire guidance.Key Responsibilities, • Undertake Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments, • Review external assessments and provide recommendations, • Support site teams with day-to-day H&S and Fire guidance, • Deliver pragmatic and commercially focused solutions, • Support auditing and continuous improvement initiatives, • Build strong relationships across regional sitesAbout You, • Experience within Health & Safety and Fire Safety roles, • Comfortable managing a regional multi-site portfolio, • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, • Commercially aware, pragmatic and solutions focused, • Experience undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety audits, • Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation, • Proven experience within FM, property or built environment environments, • Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively, • Full UK driving licenceQualifications & Experience, • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, with evidence of continued professional development (CPD), • NEBOSH or NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety desirable, • NEBOSH Fire Safety / Fire Risk Management or Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification desirable, • IOSH membership preferred (CertIOSH minimum or working towards CMIOSH)Please click apply to find out more details!
