Join a supportive, service-oriented team as a Dry Cleaning Assistant, helping to deliver high-quality laundry and garment care services. You will support the full dry cleaning process, from garment intake and sorting through to pressing, finishing and packaging. Responsibilities • Receive, sort, tag, and organise garments for processing., • Operate dry cleaning and pressing equipment safely, following all procedures and manufacturer instructions., • Assist with pressing, finishing, packaging, stain spotting, and garment treatments., • Carry out service washing, drying, and folding., • Maintain clean, organised work areas, laundry stations, and storage spaces., • Provide friendly customer service, answer questions, process orders, and manage garment tags., • Work collaboratively to complete orders accurately and on time., • Follow all health and safety requirements. What we are looking for • Previous dry cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided., • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality., • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work accurately., • Good communication and teamwork skills., • Willingness to learn new equipment and safety procedures., • A positive, reliable, and dedicated approach to work. This is a paid, in-person position offering £12.72 per hour, with expected hours of 20–40 per week. Benefits include casual dress, an employee discount, and free on-site parking.
