About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Adviser to work within an innovative and values driven charity.
The successful applicant will work within the People service, providing guidance and support on a wide range of areas including contracts, policies, absence management, disciplinary & grievance, TUPE and restructure.
Working as part of a small HR team, there will be the opportunity to support and be a part of HR projects as well as support the Head of People with cultural development work.
About you
You will have previous experience in an Employee Relations role and have a minimum CIPD HR Level 3 Award.
We would like you to be able to demonstrate the following attributes, although there may be the opportunity for growth and development within the role: - be able to build excellent working relationships
-be an effective influencer - have experience and knowledge of handling and advising on change within an organisation - have great organisational skills and attention to detail - have and keep up to date with knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application
- have knowledge of payroll practices

Suffolk Family Carers is located on a rural business park, easily accessible from the A14 and 4 miles from Ipswich.
We are a very flexible employer and your hours, so long as worked within the hours of 8 and 6 and adaptable to any important meetings, are up to you. We would expect the successful candidate to work from the Claydon site at least one day a week.
