Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our family. The successful applicant will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to the residents of our Nursing home. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming and washing, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing Assist residents in their dietary requirements and all nutrition and hydration Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Assist residents to engage in activities for mental and physical stimulation. Support residents with mobility and any physical disabilities to enhance their physical well-being. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel. Assist with domestic activities such cleaning, preparation of meals and laundry. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to hygiene standards. Skills Experience in home care is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial. Familiarity with dementia and person centred care principles. Previous experience care settings is an advantage. Strong interpersonal & communication skills to build rapport with our service users and their families. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
