HGV Technician Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 07:00–16:00 | Occasional Saturdays We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated HGV Technician to join our growing operation, specialising in DAF wagons. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in their work and is ready to take ownership of a workshop environment. The Role You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a modern fleet of DAF HGVs, ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance. This role suits someone who can work independently, manage their own workload efficiently, and maintain high standards in a busy workshop. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing on DAF HGVs Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner Ensure all work is completed to DVSA standards Maintain accurate service and repair records Take ownership of the workshop, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently Work proactively to minimise vehicle downtime What We’re Looking For Proven experience as an HGV Technician (DAF experience preferred) but not essential Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a focus on quality workmanship Relevant qualifications in HGV maintenance/repair What’s on Offer Company vehicle Salary £55,000 per annum Fuel allowance Company pension scheme Onsite parking Stable, long-term opportunity with autonomy in your role If you’re an experienced HGV Technician looking for a role where you can truly make your mark and run your own workshop efficiently, we’d like to hear from you.
