Business Unit: TOCS – Service Protection – Change Management Salary range: £33,600 to £42,000 per annum DOE Location: Hybrid with occasional travel to a Glasgow & Gosforth Hubs when required Contract type: Permanent – Full time Our Team It’s an exciting time for us as we grow our experienced and dynamic IT Change Management Team. You’ll have the opportunity to support the mature ITIL led internal Change Management governance process, ensuring the stability and reliability of the bank's IT infrastructure, by managing and overseeing all internal changes. This role is crucial to the organisation’s ability to function effectively and ensure the safety to our internal and external customer experience, contributing to our purpose of Making You Happier About Money. We’re seeking someone with a deep understanding of IT change management, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination to safeguard the bank's interests, maintain internal governance and compliance with regulatory standards. What you’ll be doing • Protecting live operational service through the management of ALL IT change activity using robust change management processes., • Facilitating and chairing large change approval forums effectively - Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and Major Change Advisory Boards (MCAB)., • Working collaboratively with IT colleagues and supporting the wider Service Protection team to deliver results and identify ways to improve performance and effectiveness., • Leading Change Reviews and working closely with Incident and Problem Management to document lessons learned ensuring issues are addressed., • Interrogating ITSM tools (Service Now) to produce relevant MI reporting to exec level., • Ensuring that policies, procedures and standards are always followed, and activities are within regulatory and risk requirements., • Developing risk mitigation strategies, creating and maintaining team Controls, fulfilling Audit requirements as part of a continuous service improvement plan., • Previous or current experience in an IT Service Management role., • A can-do attitude and ability to work multiple tasks under pressure., • Evidenced capabilities in building new processes and appropriate documentation., • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services., • Experience in chairing mixed stakeholder level forums., • ITIL Foundation or above qualifications, • Experience working with Service Now software, • Generous holidays - 38.5 days annual leave (including bank holidays and prorated if part-time) plus the option to buy more., • Up to five extra paid well-being days per year., • 20 weeks paid, gender-neutral family leave (52 weeks in total) for expectant parents and those looking to adopt., • Market-leading pension., • Free private medical cover, income protection and life assurance.
