Key Responsibilities of the role: Includes but is not limited to: • Positively impact customer experience through display and visual appeal., • Ensure that products are accessible, constantly available, and properly distributed., • Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling, and managing the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organised manner., • Check merchandise and supply deliveries for accuracy and verify that the quantity received matches bills of lading, purchase orders, and other documents., • Decrease store shrinkage by investigating inventory discrepancies and reporting suspicious activities to the store management team., • Support the store management team with the control of stock and processing deliveries, transfers and stock returns, • Advise about product placement and new inventory levels., • Participate in year-end inventory, • Organize the stockroom, and ensure accurate labelling, logical placement, neat arrangement, and cleanliness., • Undertake daily tasks as required by the store management team, • Take ownership of your role and work to support the store team to achieve goals, • Supporting the Sales Assistants with customer sales during peak times Knowledge, skills and abilities: • Demonstrable experience of working in a luxury retail or premium retail stockroom environment, • Experience of working in a concession and achieving store approval (employees are required to pass store approval, the details of which are governed by the host store), • Demonstrable commercial knowledge and brand awareness, • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate via varied channels, • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed, • Positive and solutions driven attitude; takes responsibility for own actions, • Excellent product knowledge; motivated to continuously build product knowledge, • Excellent time keeping and reliable attendance, • Super organised and excellent attention to detail, • Ability to adapt to frequent changes and a high-pressured environment Joseph Company values Uncompromising We are driven by our ambitious expectations — good enough isn’t good enough. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment owned by the business is safe to use, identifying potential hazards, and maintaining detailed records of tests performed. In addition to PAT testing, the successful candidate will support the Logisitcs Supervisor with collections and deliveries, basic equipment repairs, liaising with machinery suppliers and head office maintenance. Key Responsibilities: -Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical appliances in various environments, including offices, industrial sites, and rental properties. -Identify and record faulty equipment, taking appropriate action where necessary. -Use specialised PAT testing equipment to assess appliance safety. -Label appliances according to their test results (Pass/Fail). -Maintain detailed records and reports of all tests conducted. -Carry out basic equipment repairs where qualified to do so. -Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures. -Travel to different sites as required, sometimes working independently or as part of a team. Requirements: -A valid PAT Testing qualification. -Knowledge of UK PAT testing regulations and Health & Safety guidelines. -Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential (training may be provided). -Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. -Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills. -Good communication and customer service skills. -Full clean UK driving licence. -A good command of English Language.
