I am recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a very well established multi site organisation. \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nRecording purchase invoices using Sage accounting software \nPerforming supplier statement reconciliations \nManaging weekly cash tracking across multiple business units \nPreparing weekly management reports \nHandling queries from suppliers, customers, and stakeholders \nSupporting daily banking, filing, and admin tasks \nAssisting with management accounts (accruals & prepayments) \nPreparing and submitting VAT returns \nCarrying out bank reconciliations and petty cash checks Requirements / Skills\n \nPrevious accounts experience (around 2+ years preferred) \nStrong Excel and accounting software skills (e.g. Sage, Xero) \nGood communication and telephone manner \nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment \nStrong organisation and attention to detail \nAbility to prioritise and work under pressure \nStudying or interested in CIMA / ACCA preferred Salary & Working Pattern\n \nApprox. £26,000 – £35,000 per year dependent on experience Full-time, office-based (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm)

Financial Assessment Officer\n\nAnnual Salary: £28.00/hour (Umbrella)\nLocation: Wembley HA9\nJob Type: Temp until end of October 2026We are seeking two experienced Financial Assessment Officers. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in financial assessments for care packages, with proficiency in Mosaic and a strong preference for experience in Abacus. This role requires a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.\n\nDay-to-day of the role:\n\nAssess, review, or reconsider entitlement to various support schemes such as Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Social Care financial assistance, and concessionary travel, ensuring compliance with current legislation and targeted timescales.\nResolve customer contacts at the first point of contact, ensuring high-quality service delivery across various access channels.\nLiaise effectively with customers, representatives, landlords, and internal and external stakeholders to resolve all claim types.\nHandle complex benefit cases, including investigating and resolving customer disputes, considering backdating requests, and dealing with cases involving deprivation of capital.\nMaintain and update Council Tax accounts, manage overpayments, and undertake home visits if required.\nUndertake assessments for Residential and Domiciliary care to ensure accurate contributions and maximise revenue.Required Skills & Qualifications:\n\nExperience in financial assessments for care packages.\nProficiency in Mosaic is required; experience in Abacus is strongly desired.\nExcellent knowledge of relevant IT systems, policy, and procedures.\nAbility to understand and assimilate information, analyse conflicting sources of information, and make sound reasoned decisions.\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team, managing a high workload under pressure.To apply for the Financial Assessment Officer position, please submit your CV detailing your relevant experience
