We are a busy and customer-focused restaurant committed to delivering excellent food, service, and dining experiences. We are looking for an organised and motivated Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day management of our restaurant operations and help maintain high standards across both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and high customer satisfaction.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff and support team performance.
- Prepare staff rotas and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Ensure compliance with food quality, customer service, health and hygiene standards.
- Support menu and service decisions in line with restaurant standards and customer expectations.
- Monitor stock levels, oversee purchasing, and assist with inventory control.
- Help control costs, reduce waste, and support budget management.
- Handle customer enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain accurate operational records and support sales monitoring and planning.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily administration and operational duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food service management or supervision.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organisational and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
