Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a lively environment, contributing to the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and courteously
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
- Engage with customers to create a friendly and welcoming environment
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adherence to licensing laws
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or bar service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly, professional attitude with a genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, Holidays Including Christmas and New Year or during special events as needed
