About the Role
Twelve months in, you'll have a full, returning client book, a reputation for consistent quality work, and be a barber other team members look to for craft and shop standards.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver a full range of cuts, skin fades, and beard grooming to a consistently high standard
- Build and maintain your own client book through quality work and strong client relationships
- Consult with clients on their desired look and advise on styles suited to their face shape and hair type
- Manage your appointment schedule efficiently to minimise wait times and keep client flow smooth
- Keep your station clean and organised, and sterilise tools and equipment after each use
- Help maintain the shop's atmosphere and reputation, including with walk-in clients
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- At least 2 years' experience working as a barber in a professional shop, with a portfolio showing range across styles
- Strong, consistent skin fade and clipper work
- Confident with beard shaping and hot towel service
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working full-time on-site in Bromley
- Friendly, easy manner with clients — this is a relationship business
Preferred:
- An existing local client base you can bring with you
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Barbering or equivalent qualification
- Experience with modern razor and scissor-over-comb techniques
Pay & Hours
£130–£150 per day, depending on experience and talent, plus tips (regulars tip well)
5 or 6 days a week
Weekdays: 10am–8pm
Weekends: 10am–5pm
