Work alongside the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to develop new ideas for student meal programs. Shift Times: The Chef de Partie will work five days per week, Monday to Friday. The shift timings are as follows: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM Shift patterns will vary weekly to ensure coverage for the meal service. Requirements: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a school or catering environment. A passion for preparing fresh, nutritious, and well-balanced meals tailored to students' needs. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required before employment can begin. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to cover different shifts as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high standards are met at all times. A bicycle or car is required for reliable transportation, as public transport options are limited in the area. Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen environment (knowledge of Food Safety Level 2 is a plus). An understanding of dietary requirements and the ability to cater for allergies and preferences.
