We are looking for a friendly and hardworking Barista / All-Rounder to join our café team. The role involves preparing high-quality coffee, sandwiches and baked food items, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting day-to-day café operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks
- Prepare sandwiches, breakfast items, and light food according to set standards
- Assist with basic baking, reheating, and food presentation
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Take customer orders and process cash/card payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, coffee machines, food prep areas, and seating
- Ensure food hygiene, health & safety standards are followed at all times
- Restock ingredients, goods, and supplies as required
- Support opening and closing duties and general café tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or café all-rounder preferred (training can be provided)
- Experience with sandwich preparation and breakfast items
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Right to work in the UK
