Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated talented Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Handle food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all items meet quality standards
- Operate a quality La Marzocco coffee machine and equipment efficiently while performing routine maintenance
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours
- Maintain inventory levels of supplies and assist with restocking as needed
- Table service
- Keeping areas clean and tidy.
- Unpicking LEGO during quiet periods.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Candidates will receive Level
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery
