Barista - HR Genie - Bradford

We are hiring for an exciting new role on behalf of our client - OTTA Coffee House

Job Purpose
To prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food/drink items, deliver excellent customer service, and help keep
the shop clean, well-stocked and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve skilled, consistent, quality coffee (espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, milk texturing/latte

art, etc.) to company standard.

• Prepare acai bowls and other menu items to recipe and presentation standards.
• Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service at all times, including taking orders and

operating the till.

• Undertake all cleaning duties, including front and back of house, equipment, and washing up, in line with

food hygiene standards.

• Monitor stock levels and carry out stocking/restocking of ingredients, cups, and consumables during shifts.
• Assist with receiving and storing stock deliveries correctly.
• Follow all health & safety and food hygiene procedures at all times.
• Report any customer complaints, equipment issues, or stock shortages to the Supervisor.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute positively to the team.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the business.

Person Specification

• Previous barista experience preferred, though training will be provided.
• Genuine interest in coffee and quality food/drink preparation.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to undertake cleaning and stocking duties as part of the role.
• Basic food hygiene awareness (training/certificate to be provided if not already held).
