Builder

General Builder - £140/£200 per day

Self employed or PAYE General builder required for a small friendly construction company specialising in extensions and refurbishments covering from Chichester to Worthing, office based in Littlehampton.

The role will be working in occupied residential properties and you will be working closely with the directors of the company to provide the best service for our customers.

Must:

Have a good understanding of all aspects of construction with a core trade in bricklaying or carpentry and be able to undertake other trades.

Be able to read drawings, prepare material lists, and liaise with customers/building control etc.

Have own transport and tools (bigger tools and plant will be supplied by the company)

Have a good work ethic and communication skills.

Ideal skill base to include all or some of:

Setting out

Excavating foundations

Underground drainage and groundworks

Brick/Blockwork

Installing steels

Constructing roof structure

1st and 2nd fix carpentry

Installing windows and doors

Basic plumbing/Electrical knowledge

Internal fit out, stud work, plaster boarding, plastering

Kitchen fitting
