To support this vision, the studio is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive. This role will be central to driving growth strategies, enhancing client engagement, and ensuring the studio maximises opportunities within both the local Aberdeen market and the wider digital landscape.
Job Overview
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to expand the studio’s market presence, retain existing clients, and create new business opportunities. The role requires a strong balance of commercial awareness, marketing expertise, and operational insight to support Viet Nail Studio’s expansion, particularly with the launch and management of the second branch.
The successful candidate will be expected to bring innovative ideas, manage business development initiatives, and ensure the smooth execution of marketing and client engagement campaigns. Key Responsibilities
Market Development and Growth
- Conduct in-depth research into market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Assist in developing strategies to expand the client base, including targeting new demographics and exploring service diversification.
- Contribute to long-term business planning by providing insight and recommendations for future growth initiatives.
Client Engagement and Retention - Develop and implement structured loyalty programs, membership packages, and personalised communication campaigns to enhance client retention.
- Monitor and analyse client feedback to improve service offerings and strengthen client satisfaction.
- Support the delivery of exceptional customer experiences across both branches by aligning engagement strategies with operational practice.
Digital Marketing and Brand Visibility - Manage the studio’s digital platforms, including the website, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring content is professional, engaging, and aligned with brand identity.
- Plan and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns to attract new clients and maintain engagement with existing ones.
- Monitor performance metrics and produce reports on digital marketing effectiveness, recommending adjustments where necessary.
Community and Partnership Development - Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, community organisations, and event organisers to enhance brand visibility.
- Develop and manage collaborations with lifestyle and corporate partners to generate new revenue opportunities.
- Represent Viet Nail Studio at relevant community and networking events to build professional connections.
Operational and Strategic Support - Assist in coordinating the activities of both branches to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
- Support resource planning, scheduling, and reporting to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Contribute to financial and business performance reporting by preparing insights, monitoring KPIs, and highlighting opportunities for improvement.
- Provide administrative support in areas such as vendor management, marketing budgets, and project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience - Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a related commercial role; experience in beauty, retail, or hospitality sectors is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement client acquisition and retention strategies.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including content creation, campaign management, and analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities effectively.
