Responsibilities
Welcome customers warmly and take their orders accurately
Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking and presentation tasks
Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces
Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently
Support team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Uphold food safety standards at all times, adhering to hygiene regulations
Skills
Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is desirable
Knowledge of food preparation and food safety procedures
Barista experience is a plus but not essential; training can be provided
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Organised with strong attention to detail
A team player who is adaptable and eager to learn new skills
