Multi-Skilled Automotive Technician / Workshop All-Rounder We are looking for a skilled, reliable and highly motivated Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team. The primary role will be vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and general automotive work, but we are particularly interested in someone who is hands-on, versatile and capable of taking on a variety of responsibilities within the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with cars, is mechanically minded, takes pride in their work and has a “can-do” attitude. Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs. Identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and professionally. Assist with general workshop duties and vehicle preparation. Carry out vehicle wrapping and window tinting where experienced, or be willing to learn. Assist with vehicle detailing and presentation when required. Create and edit video content for the business, including vehicle/workshop footage. Assist with social media management, posting content and engaging with customers online. Help with general business and workshop tasks as required. Be able to multitask and adapt to different jobs and priorities throughout the working day. Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment. Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers and vehicles. Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic / Automotive Technician. Strong practical and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Reliable, punctual and professional. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Full UK driving licence — essential, as the role will involve driving vehicles and may involve future vehicle transportation and collection/delivery duties as well as mobile mechanic mobile valet/detail. A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in different areas of the business. Additional Skills – Highly Desirable We would be particularly interested in candidates who also have experience in any of the following: Vehicle wrapping / PPF / vinyl installation Window tinting Vehicle detailing Video filming and editing Photography Social media management and content creation Basic graphic design General electrical or fabrication work * Any other practical automotive or workshop skills You do not need to be an expert in every area. We are looking for someone who is very hands-on, willing to learn and able to turn their hand to different tasks. The Ideal Candidate The ideal person will be more than just a mechanic. ❄️☀️ Air Conditioning Improver Role An opportunity for an Improver Role has come up to join our team here at Cool Mechanical Services Limited. (This will be on a self employed basis) I will keep the Improver busy so no need to worry about days off, if self employed worries people. We are a local Air Conditioning team which cover all of Essex & London. I have 16 years experience to teach the improver, get them ready to become an engineer for themselves. Once experienced enough we can talk about getting the correct qualifications that you will need to progress further! Must be reliable, willing to learn, basic knowledge of tools, CSCS card will be required. No experience needed as I can teach you that. Must be able to drive.
