Care support worker required to deliver personal care to a very pleasant 36yr old bedbound client with learning and physical disabilities. Client lives at home in HOGSTHORPE with her parents , who also deliver care.
The hours are 16 per week Monday 2.30pm -6.30pm , Tuesday to Friday 3 hours 2.30pm - 5.30pm. No weekend working.
Experience of caring not essential , but candidates must be kind and empathic. There is a lot of moving and handling with this client using overhead tracking hoist and slide sheets. There is one shower per week using Wetroom.
two other carers are also employed.
client is of a very happy and pleasant temperament , who presents much younger than her age.
all training given by qualified nurse.
candidates require driving licence to get to HOGSTHORPE village.
