We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/General Builder to join our dedicated team.
The role
We're looking for an experienced carpenter to work on a variety of domestic projects. although primarily a carpentry position basic knowledge of other aspects of the industry would be useful.Your main responsibilities will include:
First and second-fix carpentry, including stud walls, door linings, roofing, and flooring. The ability to build a ‘cut’ roof from plans is essential.
Working alongside other trades to help with structural alterations
Fitting kitchens and other bespoke joinery.
Collaborating with other tradespeople to keep projects running efficiently.
Ensuring a clean and safe work environment at all times.
You will need
Proven experience as a carpenter
working knowledge of building regulations and safety practices.
The ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
A full set of your own tools.
Your own transport is not essential as a van may be available but a clean driving licence an advantage
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
