We are looking for an experienced and reliable carpenter to work on domestic renovation and refurbishment projects.
The ideal candidate must be competent and experienced in the following areas:
- Installation of laminate flooring, including preparation, underlay, cutting and finishing.
- Installation of engineered wood flooring, particularly herringbone flooring, with a high standard of accuracy and finish.
- Full kitchen installations, including fitting kitchen units, cabinets, worktops, panels, plinths and associated finishing work.
- Installation of internal doors, including fitting door frames/linings, architraves, hinges, handles and ironmongery.
- Installation and replacement of skirting boards and architraves.
- General first and second-fix carpentry associated with domestic renovation projects.
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, level and install materials to a professional standard.
- Ability to work from drawings, measurements and kitchen/flooring plans where required.
Applicants should have their own tools, good attention to detail and be capable of working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Previous experience working on domestic refurbishment projects is essential. Reliability, professionalism and the ability to complete work neatly and efficiently are important.
