We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who is ready to work in a fast paced kitchen as part of our team. We make all our recipes from scratch using fresh ingredients and are looking for a chef who will help maintain our standards. Responsibilities include learning and mastering both the grill and sides sections, prepping ingredients, sauces and garnishes daily, thoroughly cleaning down at the end of service and most importantly, enjoying the free food with every shift.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in making fresh dough, preparing and cooking pizzas, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene. Experience with wood-fired oven is a must. Creativity in developing new recipes and menu specials is highly valued. Responsibilities include dough preparation, topping management, baking, and ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen. Overall Responsibilities: - Become fully knowledgeable on all recipe cards and service standards. - Maintain your section in order, always clean and fully stocked up. - Support Management team with Food Safety requirements from the accepting deliveries, storing, preparing, and serving food. Ensure that Food Safety and Hygiene practices within the kitchen are of the highest’s standards. - Help to create a family feeling in the restaurant by communicating and building great relationship with FOH and BOH teams. - Ensure that sections and other kitchen areas are deep cleaned on a regular basis and recordings been made accordingly. - Support all management team in any areas where needed. - Report for your shift so that you are ready to work the moment that your shift time starts, wearing clean uniform and looking presentable. Looking for a junior sous chef for our cafe in Hackney Central serving all day breakfast/Brunch and sandwiches. We work in an open plan kitchen so right candidate must be presentable and speak a good level of english. At busy times chefs may be required to take out food to guests 35-50 hours per week/ straight shifts Must have minimum of 2 years experience in a fresh food kitchen.
