Beautiful menu and inspiring Head Chef
At the heart of the hotel is The Nest, our 2 AA Rosette restaurant, led by Head Chef Luke Rawicki, formerly of Lucknam Park and The Slaughters. Luke brings a refined, modern European style to the menu, with a strong focus on seasonal, locally sourced produce and elegant, produce-led cooking.
In our small and skilled kitchen team, you'll be hands-on creating beautiful dishes like hand-dived scallops with dashi, chicken wing and smoked rapeseed, Isle of Wight tomatoes with whipped ewe's cheese, or our signature stuffed saddle of South West lamb with peas, mint salsa verde and Jersey Royals.
Exciting new chapter
We’ve also just launched our new indoor–outdoor terrace The Aviary, a more relaxed space featuring a top-of-the-range pizza oven and an evolving menu of wood-fired sourdough pizzas and seasonal small plates. Whether it’s cured Italian coppa, with Mark's Cotswold sourdough and smoked tomato chutney, or every dish is crafted with care, precision and great ingredients.
You and the role:
We’re looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join us for this exciting new chapter: someone who wants to develop their skills, be part of a close-knit and professional team, and contribute to something genuinely special.

What you'll be doing:
  • Running your section with confidence and consistency
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on daily prep and service
  • Helping to train and guide junior members of the team
  • Contributing ideas for new dishes, specials and service improvements
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards

What we are looking for:
  • At least 1 years’ experience as a CDP in a quality-driven kitchen
  • A real passion for food, presentation and seasonal ingredients
  • A calm, reliable and positive approach to service
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment
