Providing creative play, reading, mark-making and storytelling with little ones, supporting early language development, and helping children develop their creativity and imagination. Providing a range of play activities, both indoors and outside, to help children develop, showing planning for different areas of learning and age ranges. Working in partnership with parents to enable the best care as well as working with other childcare professionals and to support both children and their families through changes, transitions as well as supporting their child individual needs, on going learning and development. Picking children from and dropping off at nursery school or their other settings, activities and clubs. Ensuring the children are well looked after, ensure they feel secure, and are safe, warm and well fed. Cooking with and for the children, providing valuable real-life learning experiences and healthy nutritious meals and snacks. Adhering to safeguarding and well-being legislation, and maintaining the integrity professional development practise. Planning, preparation and serving meals based on dietary need.
