I am looking for a kind, patient and trustworthy childminder assistant who will work in a home-based setting. Candidates must enjoy working with children and will support with daily duties such as preparing and serving meals, changing nappies, writing reports, engaging in play, planning activities, assisting to put children to sleep, and supervise children creating a safe environment.
Childminder Assistant Responsibilities:
Providing support for the childminder.
Monitoring and supervising the children constantly.
Assisting the childminder in maintaining a safe and positive environment.
Alerting the childminder to emergencies.
Preparing and serving meals and snacks.
Greeting parents and addressing children by their name.
Adhering to procedures in preparing a bottle or changing a diaper.
Assisting with sand, water, or playground activities.
Assisting in putting children to sleep.
Assisting in tidying up.
Assisting in planning.
Childcare Assistant Requirements:
Experience working with children
Early years training
Enhanced DBS check with barred lists
First Aid Training recommended.
Safeguarding training
Level 2 Food Safety and hygiene training
