Classic Car Technician / Mechanic – Join the Home of the Legendary Mini

Do you live and breathe classic cars? Dream of working on iconic British motoring legends every day? At Mini Sport Ltd, we’re looking for a skilled and passionate Classic Car Technician to join our expert restoration team and help keep the spirit of the classic Mini alive.

For more than 55 years, Mini Sport has been at the heart of the classic Mini world — building championship-winning competition cars, restoring rare classics, and creating bespoke builds for enthusiasts and celebrities alike. Now, we’re offering you the chance to become part of that story.

Based in our state-of-the-art workshop in Padiham, you’ll work alongside experienced specialists on some of the finest classic Minis in the country.

What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on classic Minis and vintage vehicles
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, suspension work, brake repairs, and engine tuning
Assisting with full restorations, custom builds, and motorsport preparation
Installing performance upgrades and specialist components
Ensuring every vehicle meets our exceptionally high standards of quality and authenticity
Working as part of a passionate and supportive team of classic car enthusiasts

What We’re Looking For
You’re more than just a mechanic — you’re someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys bringing classic vehicles back to life.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician
Strong mechanical knowledge across engines, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrics
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
A keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
A proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for classic cars
A full UK driving licence

Experience with classic Minis is a huge bonus, but passion, skill, and willingness to learn matter just as much.
