Department: Food Team
As Central Production Manager you will manage and operate our Central Production Kitchen based in Olympia, West London. You will take full ownership of the day to day operations, leading a team of production chefs and porters, ensuring all food items are prepped, packed, and distributed to venues on time, to spec, and to the highest food safety standards.
You'll work cross-functionally with the venue Head Chefs, General Managers, Food Team and Operations Team to ensure streamlined service delivery across multiple venues. This is a strategic role suited to someone with a strong background in food production, team leadership, and operational excellence.
We expect you to:
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and packaging to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
Implement and manage production schedules based on venue demand and forecasting data.
Take ownership of stock management, including placing orders with suppliers, receiving and checking large deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock rotation and storage.
Process and reconcile delivery invoices, flagging any discrepancies and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Work closely with the food teams and Head Chefs to implement new menu items or adjust current offerings.
Manage team rotas, shift patterns, and holiday planning in line with labour budgets.
Foster a positive team culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and high standards.
Coordinate daily delivery scheduling to our venues in Olympia, West London.
Enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with EHO and internal policies.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments across kitchen operations.
Ensure allergen management, labelling, and traceability systems are followed meticulously.
Identify and implement process improvements to maximise efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor KPIs across output, waste, cost, and labour to drive consistent performance.
Who you'll be:
Proven experience managing a high-volume central kitchen or food production facility.
Exceptional understanding of food safety, HACCP, and allergen protocols.
An independent worker, with a proactive and solution-based approach, who is task driven.
Highly skilled with logistics, organising and planning.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Able to communicate clearly and efficiently with various stakeholders across Incipio.
Supportive and able to provide calm, reactive support when needed.
