We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Dancer to join our performing arts team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and inspire audiences. Duties
- Perform choreographed dance routines at live events, shows, and rehearsals.
- Collaborate with choreographers and fellow dancers to develop new routines and performances.
- Engage with audiences through energetic and captivating presentations.
- Assist in organising dance workshops or classes for different age groups and skill levels.
- Demonstrate dance techniques and provide instruction or coaching when required.
- Maintain personal fitness and dance skills through regular practice and training sessions.
- Represent the organisation professionally during all performances and public appearances.
Requirements - Proven experience in dancing across various styles (ballet, contemporary, jazz, etc.).
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with audiences and team members.
- Ability to speak confidently in public settings; experience in teaching or instructing is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prepare routines independently.
- Enthusiasm for performing arts with a professional attitude towards rehearsals and performances.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as required.
- A positive attitude, creativity, and dedication to continuous improvement in dance techniques. This role offers an exciting opportunity for talented dancers to showcase their skills while inspiring others through performance and instruction.
