DEB Logistics Ltd & Danmar Delivery Ltd, under franchize agreement in DPD Group UK, invites you to join us as a 3.5 Tonne Collections and Delivery Driver.
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering/collecting packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for ensuring that all packages are delivered/collected safely and accurately.
Delivery Driver skills and qualifications
Delivery Drivers must be courteous and prompt with a commitment to providing customers with a pleasant experience. They must be thorough in making sure products are properly delivered, passionate about making clients satisfied and committed to work safety. A successful Delivery Driver candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include:
Excellent knowledge of 60-mile radius of DPD depot Dartford
Drives company vehicles safely and courteously
Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Resolve any customer issues or complaints that may arise during delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
Requirements:
A valid UK Driving License with no more than 6 points, held for at least 3 years.
A clean DBS certificate with no convictions or offences.
Preferred 1 year of experience in delivery work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Residency near Dartford (DA11) is beneficial.
Excellent driving skills and able to drive standard manual transmission
Physically fit and able to lift and carry packages of at most 50 lbs; DOT physical exam required.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if necessary.
