The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness. Experience with commercial driving is preferred, along with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Responsibilities Operate 7.2 T lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring all items are transported without damage Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to legal driving hours and regulations Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any unforeseen delays Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation during operations Qualifications Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record, with a category suitable for Class 2 vehicles Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for secure cargo transportation Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 in Hounslow (TW3) Pay: £14–£15 per hour (PAYE) plus holiday pay and pension Contract: Full-time, permanent About the Role Join a two-person crew delivering scaffold towers using a Mercedes Sprinter Luton. You will ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, complete delivery notes, and provide excellent customer service on multi-drop routes around London. Responsibilities • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure safe loading using straps, blankets, and a sack barrow/trolley. Operate the tail-lift as needed., • Perform multi-drop deliveries and collections of scaffold tower sections (no installation involved)., • Complete paperwork and app scanning; manage basic routes and time efficiently., • Collaborate with a Driver’s Mate/Porter for two-person lifts. Requirements • Hold a UK manual B licence (3.5t Luton/Sprinter) and be confident driving in London., • Maintain good manual-handling fitness; be reliable, punctual, and customer-focused., • Undergo a right-to-work check and provide a DVLA licence check code before starting., • Multi-drop experience is desirable; acceptable to have up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD/DR/IN. • You should know how to drive a van & have a proper license permitting to drive in the UK & outskirts., • You should be okay working in Frozen unit (-18) for preparing orders & loading in van as well as unloading., • You should be okay driving for more than 8 hours to do deliveries at multiple locations Eg - Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester & then back to London to drop off the van, • You should be proficient in Hindi & English to get invoices signed, checked & speak to the retailers., • You should be eligible to lift materials & cartons, in preparing pallets of carton in both ambient (Dry) & Frozen Warehouse., • You should know how to help in unloading container at Warehouse on the day deliveries are not there., • You should know how to stack all items in the freezer in shops, such as chest freezers, shelves., • Bonus Point: If you know how to ride a Fork Lift.
