We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our vibrant Children's Nursery team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in supervising daily nursery activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of childcare professionals, promoting teamwork, professional development, and a positive work environment.
- Oversee the implementation of age-appropriate learning programs that support early childhood development and foster curiosity.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing concerns promptly.
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene protocols are rigorously followed to create a secure environment for children and staff alike.
- Support staff recruitment, training, and performance appraisals to uphold high standards of childcare delivery.
- Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a nursery or childcare setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare environments.
- Knowledge of nursery regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in childcare management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and operational procedures.
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred.
- Valid driving license is advantageous for operational flexibility when required.
