Job Summary
As a Domiciliary Support Worker, you will provide respectful, person-centred support to people in their own homes. You will help individuals maintain daily routines, comfort and independence, adapting your approach to their needs and preferences.
Duties
- Support personal care, daily living and mobility, treating each person with dignity and encouraging independence.
- Prepare meals, assist with medication where appropriate to your role, and observe and report changes in wellbeing.
- Offer companionship and support for people living with dementia, Alzheimer’s or other care needs, following agreed care plans.
- Your impact: attentive, consistent support helps people feel safer and more comfortable at home, while giving colleagues clear information for coordinated care.
Experience
Required: Practical caregiving skills, patience, clear communication and the ability to support personal care, meal preparation and safe daily routines. Full UK driving license essential
