Driver - Driver

We are seeking a dedicated driver to join our team. As a driver, you will collect cars from auctions and customers' homes. This role requires willingness to travel to various locations daily via public transport. Your responsibilities include: • Performing basic physical checks during car collection, • Safely transporting vehicles back to the garage Training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills. The driver/warehouse role requires availability for early-morning and night shifts. Key responsibilities include picking customer orders and completing daily deliveries. The position involves regular medium to heavy lifting and driving a 3.5-tonne van. You will initially be employed on a two-week probationary period. Subject to meeting the required standards, you will then be offered a full-time contract. This is a six-day-per-week role, with payment made on the 28th of each month.

This role includes a personal assistant (PA) who travels with you to help with the children. The work is in line with and operates under local council standards and requirements. Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to work flexible hours to suit delivery times and if required be able to assist in loading/unloading van. May at times be required to assist in warehouse. Will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of van reporting any issues that need addressing. The driver is responsible for safely transporting clients while delivering professional, discreet, and high-quality service. Duties include maintaining vehicle cleanliness, following scheduled routes, assisting passengers when needed, and representing the company with a polite and professional attitude at all times. The driver must follow traffic laws, respect client privacy, and ensure every trip is comfortable, punctual, and secure.

People over the age of 25 that has a full uk driving’s licence, and can physically lift furniture in and out property's safely,

Weekend availability is a MUST, Full clean UK Driving License necessary. Shift patterns: Saturday and Sunday (scope to add more days after you have joined if interested) Rough shift timings are as folllows: 6.30am - 9.30am 3pm - 7.30pm £135 a day pay You will be expected to have fantastic time keeping skills as the whole operation rely's on the driver arriving and delivering on time. You will arrive in the morning to the Prep Unit in Woolwich SE18 and load the van with all food required for the day. Sometimes you will be doing multiple drops in the morning and multiple collections in the afternoon. You will drive to the location specified, usually around 30minutes-1hour drive, here you will be met by another colleague where you will both unload and set up the gazebo and market pitch together. At 9.30am you will leave and return to collect the items again at roughly 3pm. The afternoon shift is the same as the morning but obviously in reverse and you will finish your shift at around 7.30pm at the prep unit in Woolwich SE18.
