NSAR Approved Rail Trainer Location: West Horndon, Essex Contract Type: Employed Salary £50,000 to £54,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + iPhone and Laptop About the Role We are seeking an experienced NSAR Approved Rail Trainer to join our growing training team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant rail training to individuals and organisations across the rail industry. This role involves the delivery of PTS, COSS, and other rail-specific competence courses, ensuring learners meet all Network Rail and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities • Deliver PTS, COSS, and other rail-specific training courses, • Conduct both initial and refresher training, • Ensure all training meets NSAR, Network Rail, and Sentinel requirements, • Accurately complete training records and assessments, • Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and learner engagement, • Keep course materials up to date with current rail standards Essential Requirements • NSAR Approved Trainer status, • Proven experience delivering PTS and COSS training, • Strong working knowledge of Network Rail standards and Rule Book, • Excellent communication and presentation skills, • Ability to manage classroom and practical training effectively, • IT competent (training systems, reporting, online learning platforms), • Willingness to travel as required Desirable (but not essential) • Additional rail competencies (IWA, ES, SWL, etc.), • Assessing or internal verification qualifications, • Experience delivering bespoke or specialist rail courses What We Offer • Competitive pay rates, • Flexible working arrangements, • Ongoing professional development, • Supportive and professional training environment, • Opportunity to work with a respected rail training provider How to Apply To apply, please submit your CV and copies of relevant rail and training certifications.
