Join a supportive, service-oriented team as a Dry Cleaning Assistant, helping to deliver high-quality laundry and garment care services. You will support the full dry cleaning process, from garment intake and sorting through to pressing, finishing and packaging.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, tag, and organise garments for processing.
- Operate dry cleaning and pressing equipment safely, following all procedures and manufacturer instructions.
- Assist with pressing, finishing, packaging, stain spotting, and garment treatments.
- Carry out service washing, drying, and folding.
- Maintain clean, organised work areas, laundry stations, and storage spaces.
- Provide friendly customer service, answer questions, process orders, and manage garment tags.
- Work collaboratively to complete orders accurately and on time.
- Follow all health and safety requirements.
What we are looking for
- Previous dry cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and safety procedures.
- A positive, reliable, and dedicated approach to work.
This is a paid, in-person position offering £12.72 per hour, with expected hours of 20–40 per week. Benefits include casual dress, an employee discount, and free on-site parking.
