  Our client is an established Building Services consultancy. They require the support of a 2d Mechanical CAD draughtsman to work with an HVAC / mechanical department. The purpose is to support the engineering team by producing new and revising 2d HVAC / Mechanical and Plumbing Health engineering mark-ups and drawings, using AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities • Create and amend basic 2D MEP drawings and layouts., • Update drawings based on engineer and project team feedback, • Prepare plans, schematics, and installation drawings., • Maintain drawing records and file management systems., • Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and issued on time., • Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings.   Intermediate Electrical Engineer Building Services North London £40,000–£45,000 We're looking for an ambitious Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our client’s growing Building Services team in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career while working on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. You'll be involved in the design and delivery of electrical building services from concept through to completion, working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Role As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you'll contribute to a wide variety of projects, including: Commercial offices and mixed-use developments Residential developments (high-end and multi-unit) Ministry of Defence (MoD) projects Refurbishment and new-build schemesYou'll be responsible for producing electrical designs, calculations and technical documentation while coordinating with clients, architects and the wider design team. Responsibilities Design electrical building services systems, including lighting, power, fire alarms, data and security systems. Prepare calculations, specifications, reports and technical drawings. Use industry-standard software to produce high-quality engineering designs. Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects and external consultants. Attend client and design team meetings. Carry out site visits and inspections as required. Support senior engineers in delivering projects on time and within budget. Ensure designs comply with current regulations and industry standards.About You Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Around 2–3 years' experience within a Building Services consultancy. Experience working on commercial, residential or public sector projects (MoD experience is advantageous but not essential). Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant British Standards. Experience using AutoCAD and electrical design software such as Amtech, Dialux or Relux. As an Assistant Electrical Design Engineer you will join a bespoke team based in North London. The office is located within easy reach of the Jubilee Line and parking is available on site. You will be trained and supported by an experienced team and have the chance to work on major commercial schemes including high rise office blocks, MOD projects and data centres across the UK.
