Job vacancy: Driver/Assistant Engineer Location: Based South East but travel National (stay aways required) Age requirement: 25+ for insurance purposes (under 25 would be considered if they had their own vehicle - vehicle allowance would be paid) Role: Field Based - Driver and assistant to Water Hygiene engineer. Full training provided. Daily tasks include water sampling, system maintenance, water tank cleans and other duties. We are looking for the right candidate male or female who is looking to start a new career. Initially starting as an assistant but ongoing training both in house and external to aid career progression. We have national contracts so there are stay aways required (the amount varies depending on location of jobs we win)

We are Hiring!💡⚡🪛🔨 Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our reactive team. You will work as part of a highly skilled maintenance team who are responsible for ensuring that jobs completed meet the desired quality and customer service standards. You will be responsible for planned, preventative and responsive maintenance across our clients commercial and domestic properties in and around London, the South and Southeast of England. The emphasis will be on electrical works, but the role may also involve other general maintenance works like basic plumbing, replacing door handles and locks and other general wear and tear maintenance. The successful candidate will: · Perform electrical repairs and maintenance (R&M) on a day-to-day basis across multiple sites. · Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. · Manage and maintain a company-supplied van and stock · Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. · Work independently, managing your time and priorities effectively. · Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including reports and compliance documentation. Qualifications and skills required: · A sound understanding of health and safety regulations. · Ability to use service management software packages. · Excellent time management and diagnostic skills. · 18th Edition certification (minimum). · City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance. · Experience working on repairs and maintenance (R&M) in domestic or commercial settings. · Full UK driving license (essential). · Good communication skills and customer-focused approach. Transport Services (Fleet Maintenance) LTD is a small business in LONDON. We carry out all types of maintenance and repairs on vehicles ranging from light commercial up to HGV's. We pride ourselves on having a positive and fun working environment with a great team spirit. We are looking for a full time mechanic to join our close team on a permanent basis as soon as possible. Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, with overtime available as required by the business. Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience. A full UK driving licence will be required, an HGV driving licence would also be desirable. The right candidate, after passing a trial period, will be provided with a company service van.
