Technical Sales Manager.
The Position: A position of Technical Sales Manager exists within a forward-thinking company who is looking to invest for the future. The successful candidate will be someone looking to climb the ladder and have aspirations of becoming Senior Management in the future. The company are a successful long-established company with a proven track record, providing mechanical & electrical integrated services and products for the Food, Beverage, Chemical & Pharmaceutical industries. The client employs a very talented team that design, manufacture and install a wide range of process and packaging systems including conveyor systems, control panels plus various bespoke machinery for a wide range of blue-chip companies both Nationally and Internationally. As part of an exciting expansion program coupled with investing for the future, my client are looking to appoint a Sales Manager to assist in growing and developing the existing Sales Team.
Working closely with the Sales Director, you will be required to develop the Sales Department and to deliver a sustained year on year growth strategy. As Sales Manager you will have an engineering background, experience in the packaging industry, together with experience of face to face technical sales and the proven ability to succeed. Excellent package and promotion prospects await the right candidate up to £50,000 per annum plus benefits. Role and Responsibilities
•Contribute towards and implement company sales strategy.
•Generate leads, develop new business and maintain existing client base.
•Engage with clients to assess their needs, tailoring all quotations and tenders to suit customer requirements.
•Develop fully specified and costed proposals within fixed timescales.
•Assess contractual risk and negotiate favourable terms.
•Troubleshoot /problem solve issues escalating to Sales Director when necessary or urgent.
