Job Description Social Work Services are currently recruiting for both day/late shift and night shift positions Shifts to be worked in accordance with a roster including evenings and weekends Hours: Days: 07:30 - 15:10 Late Shift: 14:50 - 22:30 Night Shift: 22:15 - 07:45 Working with adults who have learning difficulties and sleepovers are a requirement of the post. Your role as a Care & Support Worker will be to support service users in their own home within the Care & Support Service, which covers areas across South Lanarkshire, including Clydesdale. To provide a high level of support to individual service users as determined by their care support plans to meet their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within their own tenancies in the community. Ideally you will hold an SVQ in Social Care Level 2 or 3 or an HNC in Social Care or be willing to work towards gaining these qualifications. Requirements Candidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment and provide a foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad.
