Company: Due to continuous growth, my IT Services client is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join them on a permanent basis in their Portsmouth based office. Role: You will be working within a dedicated team across a 24/7 shift pattern and will be responsible for providing 1st Line Support covering critical systems for both the customers and internal staff members. Such duties include monitoring calls, emails and automated alerts, bringing them to an appropriate resolution or escalating where necessary, all under an ITIL aligned framework. The following are essential: Minimum of 6 months experience in a 1st Line IT Support role Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Problem solver and a can do' attitude Team player Shift Pattern: You will work on a pattern of 4 days' Work followed by 4 days' Rest. Each Work period is comprised 12-hour shifts covering either Day or Night (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am). The assignment of shift type will rotate to ensure an equal distribution across the year.
