Our well respected client is urgently looking for an experienced Operational Support Technician to join their team based in West London, on a permanent basis. The Operation Support Technician will join a small sized and driven team, who operate and supply services to a very niche market. The Operational Support Technician will be responsible for the management of Servers (Windows/SQL) as well as possessing excellent knowledge and experience around DBA, T-SQL and PowerShell. Our client are implementing virtualisation technologies, whilst this knowledge is not essential, naturally would be desirable.

Operational Support Technician - Key Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system at both server and desktop level, and the ability to manage both environments using Microsoft and third party tools and utilities.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, and the ability to manage this environment using Microsoft and third party tools and utilities.
• Proven experience in using T-SQL to carry out both routine and ad-hoc support and maintenance tasks on large scale SQL Server databases.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines to perform continuous integration tasks.
