Commercial Insurance Account Handler - Leeds. Commercial Insurance Account Handler Location: Leeds Package: To £28,000 Ref: RD0048 Our client are a passionately independent business and have recorded growth year on year for over 7 years, driven by their management team and also their client base consistently recommending new clients. Due to their continued growth and recent appointments of Account Executives, they are now looking to strengthen their client facing account handling team. On a day to day basis you'll be: Managing general mid-term alterations for clients - referring as required to Account Executives Developing strong relationships with clients to maximise retention rates Liaising with internal departments (Claims, Marketing, Sales) to ensure client files are up to date Preparing and reviewing new business and renewal packs to ensure all documentation is accurate Actively negotiating with insurers where required to ensure clients receive the best terms possible Assisting management with generation of MI Other duties as required my management team What you'll need: Ideally you'll have 4-5 years experience within Commercial Insurance broking Exposure to Commercial Motor, Property, Liability and Combined with some exposure to fleet A skill set that includes good Communication (both written and verbal), influencing, stakeholder management, negotiation and IT skills coupled with the ability to work under your own initiative What's on offer: A basic salary of up to £28,000 with progression routes to Senior Account Handler or Account Executive positions A wider benefits package that includes full study support for professional qualifications You'll be a person, not a number - as a business they are fiercely independent and have the feel of a family business which is impressive given their size.
